What Is Health Life Coaching?

Health life coaching looks at both your mental and physical wellbeing, because the two are deeply connected. It's not about punishing yourself at the gym or following a rigid diet. It's about understanding why you make the choices you do, and making small, consistent changes that add up to lasting results.

As part of my blended life coaching approach, health sits alongside other life areas, so if your physical health is being impacted by stress, relationships, or finances, I can explore those connections too. I can work through everything as a journey with you, or focus specifically on health.

Please note: Life coaching is not the same as counselling or therapy. If deeper issues arise that fall outside the scope of coaching, I will always advise and recommend the appropriate professionals.

The two services complement each other well.

This depends on your goals and starting point. Most clients begin to see meaningful progress within 4–6 sessions. Your coach will discuss a personalised session plan with you during your first consultation, and the frequency can be adjusted as you progress.

Yes. All health life coaching sessions are available both in person and online via video call, making it easy to fit into your schedule regardless of where you are in South Africa. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person ones.
